I help people who tend to overgive and overcare in their relationships—those who feel like they’re always taking care of everyone else but rarely themselves. Through individualized support, I guide you to set healthy boundaries, restore balance, and reconnect with your own needs, so you can care for others without losing yourself.

Counseling Services

Individual Counseling
$125.00

Life as a caregiver can be rewarding, but it can also leave you feeling drained, anxious, or overly responsible for others’ needs. In individual counseling, I work with caregivers who tend to over-care in their relationships—helping them recognize patterns, set healthy boundaries, and find balance.

Through a supportive and personalized approach, we explore ways to honor your compassion while also caring for yourself. Together, we develop practical strategies to manage stress, strengthen self-awareness, and create healthier, more sustainable connections with the people you love.

Couples Counseling
$150.00

Relationships are one of life’s greatest gifts—but they can also be challenging. Even the strongest partnerships sometimes need a little guidance to navigate conflict, improve communication, or reconnect on a deeper level. In couples counseling, I provide a supportive space where both partners can feel heard, understood, and empowered. Together, we work to strengthen your connection, build healthier patterns, and create a relationship that feels balanced, fulfilling, and resilient.

Grief Support
$0.00

Feeling sadness after a loss is completely normal, and it’s important to honor those emotions. Over time, you can give yourself permission to heal and begin to find peace in your new life. In grief support, I provide a compassionate and safe space to process your feelings, navigate difficult emotions, and explore ways to move forward while honoring the memories and impact of your loved one.

About Me

Pam Shepperd Katra is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over 15 years of experience supporting individuals and families, particularly within nursing home settings. Throughout her career, she has helped families navigate the emotional and practical challenges of caregiving, offering guidance, compassion, and advocacy during complex transitions.

Pam’s passion for helping others began at a young age. As a child, she recalls noticing a distressed man at church who believed his hat had been stolen. Moved by his distress, she turned to her parents and said, “Let’s go help him.” That early instinct to care for others became the foundation of her lifelong commitment to service.

She earned her Master’s Degree in Social Work from Fordham University and holds a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Sacred Heart University. Pam brings warmth, empathy, and a person-centered approach to her work, striving to create a safe and supportive environment for those she serves.

Outside of her professional life, Pam is a dancer and enjoys incorporating wellness practices such as yoga and aromatherapy into her daily routine, reflecting her holistic approach to well-being.
